The historic Mayflower II ship is back on the waterfront after months of repairs.
A tugboat pulled the ship into Massachusetts' Plymouth Harbour Wednesday. The Mayflower II has been undergoing extensive repairs to fix its hull, rudder and outer planks.
Mayflower II is a replica of the ship that pilgrims used to travel to America in 1620. It was launched on September 22, 1956.
Historians say the original ship was likely taken apart by Rotherhithe ship breaker in 1624.
Crews are getting the ship ready for the 400th anniversary celebration in 2020.
According to local media, the restoration project is expected to cost about $2 million.
