Man survives 19 days lost in the wilderness

Talk about survival instincts.
The man in the video above is 72-year-old hunter Gene Penaflor, and he was recently released from hospital after 19 days lost in the wilderness.
He got separated from his hunting partner whilst in the Mendocino National forest in northern California, then suffered a serious fall that included a head injury.
He stayed alive by eating lizards, frogs and squirrels, huddling under logs for warmth and drinking water from drainage sources.
Rescue teams finally found him on Saturday at the bottom of a ravine. He was too weak to walk at that point, so was carried to safety on a stretcher.
