Monday, January 25, 2016, 3:06 PM - A man in eastern Pennsylvania is dead of carbon monoxide poisoning after  being trapped in his car by a passing snow plow.

According to the Berks County coroner's office, 56-year-old David Perrotto died Saturday.

It's believed he was sitting in the car with the motor running -- or trying to get out of the way of the passing plow -- when the snow plow passed.

The plow buried the car in snow and blocked the exhaust, allowing carbon monoxide to enter the vehicle.

Perrotto was found by another person attempting to dig their car out of the snow bank.
