A clipper moving in overnight Friday into Saturday is expected to bring 1 to 3 cm of snow to the region. While its not much in terms of accumulation, it could make for some tricky driving conditions across the GTA.
"This is the same moisture that's been bringing heavy snow to Alberta and B.C., but luckily for us, we're not expecting accumulations much more than a few cm," explains Weather Network meteorologist Dayna Vettese.
"The snow is actually moisture that has travelled from the west towards the Great Lakes."
Vettese says after the snow on Saturday, southern Ontario will begin a bit of a warming trend.
Temperatures will hover just around the 10-degree mark for Toronto on Sunday, most likely melting all the snow.
