Lake levels down to record lows in Texas

This year's long, hot summer is causing havoc in Medina County, Texas.
According to local experts, the water level at Medina Lake has dropped to an all-time low.
Figures released Sunday say the waterway is at 4.8 of its capacity and it's not expected to get better anytime soon.
Resident Zane Edwards has lived in the area for nearly a quarter of a century and he's never seen the lake this dry.
"There's still some water, but by the time you get into it, you are standing in about two to three feet of mud."
Residents like Edwards say a significant flood is needed to help the lake recover.
