These kittens have just survived an unbelievable journey.

Somehow they were boxed up with fiberglass, loaded into a semi-truck and shipped more than 200 km to a warehouse.

J.C. Collins has been working at the warehouse for 34 years and thought he had seen it all -- but he couldn't believe it when a co-worker opened a box and found these two little furballs staring right up at him.

"When I first saw them, I knew they were very, very young," he said.

Collins called his nephew, who happens to be an investigator with the humane society.

Jenny Bonomini has been helping care for the black kittens and helped name them Mouse and Wifi.

"What we think happened was the mom had the babies and she put them in a safe spot and she left. So then they got boxed up and they got shipped," she says, "and they couldn't have ended up in a better place. We're actually one of the only around-the-clock kitten nurseries in the country." Now Mouse and Wifi are fat and happy.

The two kittens will remain at the nursery for a few more weeks.

When they're eight weeks old, the plan is to spay and neuter them and put them up for adoption.
