Incredible: Map-maker creates intricate snow art

Simon Beck has found a way to make white, fluffy snow look even more appealing.
The 55-year-old map designer from Berkshire, England can spend up to 10 hours and walk as much as 40 km to create his incredible "snow art".

It's a labour of love. Beck's masterpieces are initially sketched out on graph paper, using complicated mathematical patterns.
He then brings the images to life through a series of tracks on a snow-covered space. Frozen lakes are his preferred canvas.
The final result is then photographed from above.
Hey says the biggest one he's ever created is the size of 10 soccer fields, while an average project is comparable to three soccer fields.
"That takes one day if conditions are good," he told Discovery News.
