In Photos: Hurricane Nicole's hit on Bermuda

Thursday, October 13, 2016, 3:18 PM - Hurricane Nicole passed over Bermuda on Thursday, as a powerful category 3 storm with winds of more than 185 km/h.
By the time the enormous storm ceases impacting the British territory, it will also have dumped more than 200 mm of rain on some parts of the small island.
Tens of thousands of power outages have been reported so far, along with damage to roads and homes from the storm's winds and torrential rains. Here's a selection of tweets from residents of the island documenting the storm's impact:
