Photos: Funnel clouds swirl over southern Ontario

Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 5:37 PM - Some sharp-eyed southern Ontarians spotted what look to be funnel clouds swirling overhead on Tuesday afternoon, as isolated thunderstorms tracked through the region. High heat and humidity, combined with the advancing upper-level low, made conditions ripe for instability and storms on Tuesday, with a weak boundary slumping south through central Ontario and cottage country providing the focus for storms to blossom.

Even where suspected funnels weren't sighted, clouds were no less impressive as moisture-laden storms slowly chugged across the region.
