The list of Services and Amenities has everything you need to know about what you'll find there, so you can avoid the disappointment of driving for hours only to find there's nowhere to launch your boat.

    Beyond the basics

In addition to the usual temperature, rain and sunshine forecasts, check out the UV reading to figure out how much sunscreen you'll need, or whether a day in the shade is in order. And if you expect to be breathing heavy during and after a long hike, be kind to your lungs by checking out the pollen levels and air quality index before you set out.

In addition to the precipitation stop/starts times, accurate to within 10 minutes for three hours ahead, the Wet and Dry hours chart covers three days ahead, including how much rain is expected each hour.

The summer of 2015 to going to be bad for bugs, according to forecasters. Prepare for the inevitable insects with the bug report that tracks the conditions for mosquitoes, deer flies and black flies at each campsite. If you can't avoid them, you can at least plan how much bug spray to bring.

    When the sun goes down

Part of the joy of camping is being able to get away from the lights of the city to take in the night sky view once the sun goes down.

Aside from sunrise and sunset times, out Night Sky chart not only estimates percentage of cloud cover, but also the phase of the moon, so you know whether you'll be basking in moonlight or counting stars.

So get out there and get camping, with help from The Weather Network.
