Winds from the storm flipped over a few trailer homes in nearby suburbs, and a driver was rescued from a flooded wash, police say.

Although it's a fascinating sight from afar, the storm brought wind gusts of up to 80 kilometres per hour along with hail.

The storm comes after a monsoon storm hit Apache Junction in Arizona, knocking down power lines and leaving thousands of residents without electricity.
