A tornado warning had been issued for the R.M. of Frontier, the R.M. of Arlington and the R.M. of White Valley as a powerful storm is moving through the area. The tornado warnings have since been downgraded to thunderstorm warnings. Storm spotters reported a tornado near Dollard on Thursday at around 9 p.m. local time.

Authorities are warning that this is a dangerous and life-threatening situation and suggest those in the affected areas to seek shelter in  basements or the lowest levels in the building.
