Tuesday, November 24, 2015, 10:12 AM - Snow, blowing snow and icy conditions have resulted in dangerous driving conditions across western Canada and parts of Ontario, while Atlantic Canadians deal with a drastic drop in temperatures. Here's your Tuesday weather brief.
Atlantic Canada
- Maritimes: After snow and flooding rains hit the region Monday, high pressure set to dominate through the rest of the week. A drastic drop in temperatures however, follows record warm highs. Full details here.
- Newfoundland: Heavy snow continues through Tuesday for Labrador, with some rain pushing into the Avalon.
Ontario & Quebec
- Ontario: Scattered flurries that fell across southern Ontario through the overnight combined with freezing temperatures resulted in several collisions across the GTA Tuesday morning. Conditions clearing Tuesday. More details here.
- Quebec: High pressure will dominate for the next few days, allowing temperatures to boost well above seasonal values by the end of the week.
Western Canada
- Prairies: Snow and blowing snow continue across central Alberta with up to 25 cm possible by Tuesday night. Poor conditions continue to impact travel.
- British Columbia: Snowfall warnings have dropped with high pressure expected to sit over the province for the remainder of the week. Stable and sunny conditions expected.
