Atlantic Canada

  • Maritimes: Waves of flurries are possible over the next few days, with generally a few centimetres of accumulation expected. The next chance for significant snow moves in this weekend.
  • Newfoundland: Road conditions could be slippery Wednesday morning, following freezing rain in the Avalon Tuesday night. Clearing through the morning, with a chance of sunny periods.

Ontario and Quebec

  • Ontario: Lake-effect snow picks up late Wednesday southeast of the Great Lakes, continuing through the rest of the week. The coldest air of the season so far dips down from the north Thursday, lasting through the weekend. Get the details here.
  • Quebec: Cloudy with a chance of light flurries through southern Quebec over the next couple of days, improving Thursday. Temperatures declining, with a major drop by Saturday morning.

Western Canada

  • Prairies: Light flurries exit southeastern Saskatchewan in the morning as next disturbance enters northwest Alberta, some accumulations expected. Alberta temperatures cool over the weekend, but still unseasonally warm.
  • British Columbia: Light showers move in later Wednesday, heavier rain Thursday into Friday, with multiple rounds over the weekend.
