Tuesday, March 31, 2015, 7:29 AM - There's warmth in the forecast for all parts of Canada except the territories, at some point this week, but the skies won't be clear for everyone.

Here's a coast-to-coast look at what to expect on the last day of March.

Atlantic Canada

  • Maritimes: Snow continues in eastern Nova Scotia, with some mixing, leaving the region through the afternoon.
  • Newfoundland: Current system will dissipate quickly when it enters the southwest late afternoon, but a new system may track over the Avalon on Wednesday evening, bringing snow and rain.

Ontario and Quebec

  • Ontario: Snow and mixing in the morning in the southwest up to the edge of Hamilton, clearing out by the afternoon followed by sunny conditions.
  • Quebec: Mainly sunny conditions with some cloud cover is expected for southern Quebec. Daytime highs will hover around the freezing mark, feeling slightly cooler with the wind chill.

Western Canada

  • Prairies: Low forming through the day will bring messy weather over most of the Prairies. Straight snow in the north, rain in more southerly areas, with a large area of mixing beginning in the west of Alberta and gradually moving eastward through the evening and overnight. Small chance of isolated thunderstorms in central Alberta, including Edmonton.
  • British Columbia: The last of the heavy rain is all but finished, though showers continue. Small chance of isolated for a brief period along the South Coast.
