Families living on Greenbriar Road in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania really don't need to visit the zoo. Many of them have a natural wildlife sanctuary in their backyards.

Take Andy and Sue Kovac for example. They've lived in their home for 56 years. In the past, they've snapped pictures of wild turkeys and some baby raccoons. But what the couple saw on Wednesday beats them all -- a basketball stuck in the antlers of a young buck.

"Unbelievable! Can't understand how he got the ball caught in his antlers," said Andy Kovac, utterly shocked at what was in front of him. "When I came around and saw what it was, I had to run for the camera."

Andy figured he'd share the photos so others could get a chuckle.

"I think a lot of people would appreciate and be amused by it. That was pretty interesting, we're still laughing about it," the couple said.

The Kovac's told CBS Pittsburgh that it looked as the though the ball was deflating, so they weren't too worried about it being stuck there for long.

The couple suspects the sporty deer was pushing the ball around, when it suddenly locked into its horns.
