Daring couple says "I Do" 116 storeys above ground

As if the normal wedding jitters weren't already enough. This dare-devil couple took their ceremony to new heights on Thursday.
Lacy Boland and John Kirk from Barrie, Ontario, were the first to be married on the edge of one of the world’s greatest man-made wonders.
“We’ve certainly had a lot of interest in being the first to wed on EdgeWalk and we’re excited to bring Lacy and John the wedding of a lifetime,” said Jack Robinson, Chief Operating Officer of the CN Tower in a press release.
The couple said "I Do" 356 metres (116 storeys) above the ground.
"We always wanted a memorable wedding and what could be more exciting than to have it on EdgeWalk!” said Lacy and John in a statement.

Dressed in special safety walksuits designed specifically for the occasion, Lacy and John were able to enjoy some traditional wedding details.
Due to safety reasons however, the rings were elasticized and the actual wedding bands were exchanged back on the ground.
EdgeWalk first opened to the public in 2011 and on November 8, 2011, it was presented with the Guinness World Record for the “Highest External Walk on a Building”.
"The first of its kind in North America, EdgeWalk is the world’s highest external walk on a building, a full circle hands-free walk on a 5 ft (1.5 m) wide ledge encircling the top of the CN Tower’s main pod. Thrill seekers walk in groups of six, while attached to an overhead safety rail via a trolley and harness system," says the CN Tower.
