Could winter surfing be the next big extreme sport? This couple may think so!

Sunday, January 11, 2015, 7:37 PM - Stand-up paddling is the newest craze in water sports but it’s generally meant to be practiced in calm waters!

Kevin Cullen and Christian Edie are extreme athletes who love to find adventure around Western New York. 

To showcase just how dedicated they are to the outdoors during all seasons, they took their surfboards out during the deadly lake effect snow storm that battered Buffalo, New York, last November. 

The couple recently put the -10 Buffalo windchill behind them for the San Jose, Costa Rica, sunshine where they continue to share their extreme adventures on their Facebook page.
