Here's a region-by-region breakdown of where you're likely to see the worst on Wednesday.
Atlantic Canada
- Maritimes: Showers and thunderstorms, with a slight chance of severe weather through central Nova Scotia.
- Newfoundland: Showers possible in most areas except the Avalon Wednesday. More showers move into eastern Newfoundland on Thursday.
Ontario & Quebec
- Ontario: Showers and thunderstorms in eastern Ontario, with better conditions in the southwest, although cooler with variable clouds. Below seasonal temperatures continue for the rest of the week.
- Quebec: Showers and thunderstorms linger with a weak trough. Conditions improve on Thursday.
Western Canada
- Prairies: Unsettled conditions continue through the west of the week, with thunderstorm risk widespread. For Wednesday, chance of isolated severe storms in southeastern Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba, with hail, wind and heavy rains. Cool temperatures in Alberta, but rebounding into the weekend.
- British Columbia: Scattered showers and storms throughout most of B.C., with some lingering showers and thunderstorms on Thursday. Wednesday will be the coolest day of the week, with temperatures rebounding into the weekend. Chance of isolated showers along the coast on the weekend.
