Every four years, athletes from around the world compete in the Winter Games.
The games typically take place in cities whose climate can support winter sports like the biathlon and downhill skiing.
But according to University of Waterloo professor Daniel Scott, hosting the Winter Games will become increasingly difficult in the future.
We caught up with him last week to see what he had to say about the trend, and how organizers can adapt.
