The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) says the Toronto-bound lanes of the Burlington Skyway will reopen tonight between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. -- just in time for the start of the work week.
The repairs began after MTO engineers completed a second structural review Saturday night, according to spokesman Astrid Poei.
Additional repairs will be made over the next two months, adds Poei.

The vital transportation hub was abruptly shut down when a dump truck with an elevated lift-bed crashed into the scaffolding of the bridge, sending chunks of the structure crashing to the ground.
