Brief: Work week starts out stormy, with some tornado risk

Here's the coast-to-coast details.
Atlantic Canada
- Maritimes: Severe weather risk for the Maritimes. Clusters of storms may spring up, bringing heavy rain, strong winds and moderate hail, with a two per cent tornado risk for parts of New Brunswick, depending on winds.
- Newfoundland: Thunderstorm risk for central and western parts of Newfoundland on Wednesday on Wednesday, with lingering showers and thunderstorms.
Ontario & Quebec
- Ontario: After a stormy weekend that produced a tornado, Tuesday sees slight thunderstorm risk across the province, with lingering showers on Wednesday in eastern Ontario as well. Temperatures in the low 20s through to the weekend.
- Quebec: A low pressure system in Quebec will lead to storms firing off some sectors Tuesday. Lingering showers on Wednesday and Thursday.
Western Canada
- Prairies: Chance of severe weather through southeastern Alberta and southwestern Saskatchewan, risk of moderate hail, strong winds. Some tornado risk in a small area of southwestern Saskatchewan, but the chance is small and only extant for a short period of time.
- British Columbia: Heavy rain in northeastern B.C., thunderstorms through central and southern parts of the Interior Tuesday, along with a chance in central Vancouver Island. Chance of showers along the southern coast for Wednesday.
