From stunning, world-heritage architecture, to sunrises, starscapes, wild concerts, and more, this timelapse by photographer Matthew Vandeputte is a feast for the would-be world traveller.

Featured on several websites, the two-minute video has garnered more than 260,000 views since it was posted to the photographer's YouTube channel on November 7.

"I lost count on the amount of sunsets, sunrises, moonrises, starry nights, cloudy nights, hyperlapses, timelapses, image sequences ... I captured, compiled and edited," Vandeputte says on his channel. "I shot well over 100,000 images in between Belgium and Australia, using unreleased footage that was shot from over a year ago up until last week."

The result is fun and impressive, a snapshot of a year of travel and adventure.

He has several others on his website.
