12 squirrels that have plumped up for the winter

Winter is in full swing, and that means plump squirrels are everywhere.
If you think the squirrels in your neighbourhood are bigger than usual, you're probably right.

Mild weather has dominated several regions this year, leading to days with above-seasonal highs and little snow cover. That's left squirrels with more opportunities to bulk up.
Squirrels don't hibernate. Instead, they build up fat reserves in the fall to help survive the winter.
Here are a few that look like they've built up more than enough reserves.
