WeatherEye™ from The Weather Network is a FREE download for your BlackBerry®, iPhone, Windows Mobile and Google Android Smartphones and includes:
- Detailed Current Conditions, Short Term, Hourly and Long Term Forecasts
- Severe Weather Alerts (Canada and USA)
- Multiple city access (travel, cottage or favourite destination)
- Radar and Satellite maps (On iphone and Android)
- Data available in Celsius or Fahrenheit, Metric or Imperial
- One touch access to mobile.theweathernetwork.com for additional info (Flight times, traffic, golf and ski reports…)
WeatherEye iPhone provides you the following information and allows you to select from any city The Weather Network provides content for:
- Current conditions
- Short-term forecasts
- Long-term forecasts
- Warning updates
Installation
- Click here to launch iTunes and download the WeatherEye Mobile application for iPhone. (Note: You will require an iTunes account and need to connect your device to install and sync.
- Click on get app
OR
- Open up iTunes. Once inside iTunes search for "weathereye" in the top right search box
- The WeatherEye will be displayed in search results
- Click on get app
To get the WeatherEye directly from your iPhone/iPod Touch:
- Open up App Store by clicking the deck icon on your device
Once in the app store:
- Select applications
- Select Categories
- Select Weather
- Choose "WeatherEye"
- Click on FREE (at the top right)
Note:
- The application is FREE.
- Your service provider may apply data-usage charges, for the use of WeatherEye on your iPhone depending on your data-plan.
- Currently WeatherEye Mobile is available to BlackBerry® Smartphone and iPhone customers only.
