Washington Landslide: Could it happen in Canada?

With 16 people dead, and at least 176 still missing, Washington State's weekend landslide is one of the most devastating natural disasters to strike the United States so far, but could it happen in Canada?

Earth Sciences experts in British Columbia say some of B.C.'s mountain valleys could experience slides like that one - although Canada's deadliest landslide actually happened in neighbouring Alberta.
