Bridgetown is located on the southwest coast of Barbados, and is bordered by the Caribbean Sea. It is the capital city of Barbados.
While rain falls about 6 days per month from June to November, and July averages 18 rainy days, sunseekers in Bridgetown need not worry.
The island of Barbados basks under 3,000 hours of bright sunshine each year, and there are more than 70 beaches with turquoise waters and delicate pink to pure white sand to choose from.
There is also no shortage of heat in Bridgetown, where annual daytime highs range from 28 to 31 degrees Celsius and nighttime lows range from 21 to 23 degrees.
Tourists should be aware that Bridgetown can be affected by tropical depressions, tropical storms and hurricanes during the Atlantic hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to November 30.
