How Weather Affects Electricity Consumption

On a hot summer day a one degree increase in temperature increases demand by 400 MW — equal to adding the city of Brampton to the power grid. In cooperation with the Independent Electricity System Operator www.ieso.ca this product provides current Ontario electricity demand, supply price and monthly power consumption summaries.
