  1. I'm not receiving my WeatherDirect?

    There are several reasons why a WeatherDirect or PollenDirect email is not being received into your Inbox.

    1. Is your account activated? Before receiving a WeatherDirect email, you must activate your account. Once you register with Weather Centre, a confirmation email will be sent to the address that you provided. This email will contain a link to our database that you must click. This assures us that your email address is active.

    2. Have you checked your Bulk mailbox? On occasion, the WeatherDirect emails may be delivered to your Bulk mailbox instead of your inbox. It is important to notify your email services provider that you want to receive WeatherDirect and it is NOT unsolicited mail or "spam".

    3. Is your email bouncing back? We check our mail generator daily to ensure that there are no bouncing emails; however, we do occasionally receive bounces from email providers. In this case, we contact the providers (for example; AOL, Videotron, Sympatico, Hotmail etc.) directly to solve the problem.

    4. Some of our email products like PollenDirect are provided on a seasonal basis due to the relevant weather data available. Pollen does not occur in the winter months.

  3. Sometimes I see ads on my WeatherDirect email?

    We do sell some additional advertising on the WeatherDirect and PollenDirect to maintain the product and continue the software development and future growth to make it more serviceable to our users. If you have any preferred advertisers that appeal to you, and that you would like to see offers from, please send us your comments.

  5. I want to change my city or the days I receive the email?

    Log in to the Weather Centre's registered user's area with your user ID and password. This will allow you to access your account and change your city options.


    Use your WeatherDirect email & password if you have one.

  7. What is my user ID and password?

    Your user ID is your email address in full (for example; johnsmith@email.com). Your password was created by you when you first registered for WeatherDirect. If you have forgotten your password, click here and your password will be sent to your email address that you provided us.

  9. I am going away and I want to suspend my WeatherDirect emails for a few weeks, how do I do this?

    Log into the Registered Users sign in to access your account. Once your options are displayed, you can "unclick" all of the days you have selected and save your changes. Once you return from your vacation, you can log back in and click on your preferred options.

  11. How do I stop receiving the WeatherDirect or any of the email products?

    Log into the Registered Users sign in to access your account. Delete your chosen cities and save your changes. After you close your account, no more emails will be sent to you. Your account info will remain in our database as dormant. You can reactivate your emails by reselecting your preferred cities and days.
