What is The Environment Network?

The Environment Network will be an exciting new digital specialty service dedicated to climate change, global warming, pollution, the environment, the science of weather, hydrology and other environmental issues that affect our lives.

The programming will consists of documentaries, educational and informative programs with particular relevance to Canada.

The network will inform, entertain and educate Canadians about our ever-changing world with programs about the impacts on human behaviour on the environment and climate change as well as the science and fascination of extreme weather and climate conditions.

With the environment changing so quickly, The Environment Network will stay on top of the world’s issues with its daily magazine style show called Our World, and the network will dive deeper into environmental issues with shows like Climate Change- Fact and Fiction and Water, Earth & Air.

The Environment Network will also educate its audience with long form programs such as Ask the Expert and explore how climate affects peoples’ well being with Weather and You.

Why is The Environment Network Important to me?

Issues concerning the environment are among the most topical issues of concern today - outpolling the economy, taxes, and terrorism as issues of concern to Canadians. This coupled with Canadians’ fascination with extreme weather and natural disasters, makes The Environment Network the perfect forum for Canadians to face these issues head on.

The environment affects people in many ways and The Environment Network will help Canadians learn how to live in today’s changing world, and at the same time prepare them and their families for the future.
