Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drivecars through flooded areas.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or lawenforcement and request they pass this information to the NationalWeather Service when you can do so safely.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...Trinity River at Riverside affecting Trinity, Walker, Polk andSan Jacinto Counties.Brazos River at US 59, Sugar Land, TX affecting Fort Bend County.Brazos River near Rosharon affecting Brazoria and Fort BendCounties.Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County.Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Liberty and ChambersCounties.Brazos River at Richmond affecting Fort Bend County.For the Trinity River...including Riverside, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast.For the Brazos River...including US 59, Sugar Land, TX, Richmond,Rosharon...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Brazos River at Richmond.* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.* IMPACTS...At 46.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues withwater in the Simonton area upstream of the gauge. Simonton closestheir gates and pumping begins. Water is over Baudet Roadsoutheast of Richmond, Red Bird Lane in Fulshear, and Sixth Street& Ave B in Rosenberg. Significant portions of the floodplain nearThompsons are inundated requiring relocation of cattle from lowlying areas.
