...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...Neches River Near Alto affecting Houston, Trinity, Cherokee andAnderson Counties.For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,Diboll, Rockland...Major flooding is forecast.* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding isforecast.* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Fishing cabins near the river faceflooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 8:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.4 feet.- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 8:15 PM CDT Saturday was 19.4 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.7feet early Monday afternoon.- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of20.7 feet on 12/15/1960.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
