...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in NewMexico...Rio Chama Below Chamita affecting Rio Arriba County..High mountain snow melt and increased reservoir releases will causethe river flows to become high. Expect minor flooding downstreamfrom the dam.* WHAT...Flooding caused by upstream dam release continues.* WHERE...Rio Chama below Chamita.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 5.5 feet, BANKFULL STAGE. PROPERTIES IMMEDIATELYADJACENT TO THE RIVER UPSTREAM OF THE BRIDGE ON SR -74 ANDESPECIALLY NEAR THE JUNCTION WITH THE RIO OJO CALIENTE MAY SEEWATER ENCROACH ONTO LOW LYING AREAS.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 6:00 AM MDT Friday the stage was 5.6 feet.- Bankfull stage is 5.5 feet.- Forecast...The river will fall to 5.5 feet early Mondayafternoon. It will then rise to 5.6 feet early Tuesdaymorning. It will fall to 5.5 feet Tuesday morning. It willthen rise to 5.6 feet Tuesday evening.
