Heavy rain may fall on a deep primed snowpack leading to the meltincreasing. Flows in rivers may increase quickly and reach criticallevels.* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of central Montana, including the followingarea, Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Friday morning.* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Rain, heavy at times, is possible Wednesday into Thursday.Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Snow ispossible for elevations above 7000 feet.
