Water is over some boat docks on South Perkins FerryRoad and over boat ramps at Sam Houston Jones State Park.Extensive marshland flooding will occur upstream and downstreamfrom the park.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 2:01 PM CDT Monday the stage was 3.8 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stageearly Wednesday morning to a crest of 5.5 feet Thursdaymorning. Thelowest homes between Deweyville and the river begin to flood,especially in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections. Low-lyingroads and a few homes in Southwestern Beauregard Parish have someflooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 2:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 25.1 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 2:45 PM CDT Monday was 25.2 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.0feet Thursday morning.- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
