...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers inIndiana...Wabash River at Montezuma..Recent rainfall has brought Montezuma back above flood stage thismorning with Hutsonville and Riverton also expected to rise aboveflood stage on Tuesday. Numerous rain showers are expected todaybefore dry weather returns for Tuesday and Wednesday.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.* WHEN...From this morning to early Friday morning.* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands alongthe right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge ofMontezuma begin to flood.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:45 AM EDT Monday the stage was 14.4 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 10:45 AM EDT Monday was 14.4 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.8feet early Wednesday morning.
