Description

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers inIllinois...Indiana...Wabash River at Montezuma, Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site,and Riverton..Minor river flooding continues but is expected to come to an end onthe Wabash River by Friday evening. The crest is currently nearRiverton. Additional rainfall from multiple systems over the nextweek could bring renewed minor river flooding to the Wabash.* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Old Darwin Road and a few low rural roadsbetween York and Hutsonville, Illinois begin to flood.Agricultural flooding begins along portions of the river.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- There is no current observed data.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stageearly tomorrow afternoon and continue falling and remainbelow flood stage.- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
