Recommended Action
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due todangerous surf conditions.Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax andfloat. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in adirection following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face theshore and call or wave for help.

For the High Rip Current Risk,dangerous rip currents.* WHERE...Coastal Palm Beach County and Coastal Broward County.* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 8 PM EDT thisevening. For the High Rip Current Risk, through Tuesdayevening.* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions andlocalized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the bestswimmers away from shore into deeper water.
