These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow aroundunsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until thestorm passes.Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes orwaterspouts. Move indoors and stay away from windows.Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may leadto localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through floodedroadways.These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radiostations and available television stations for additional informationand possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or lawenforcement and request they pass this information to the NationalWeather Service when you can do so safely.

Description

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the followingcounty, Palm Beach.* WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 710 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorm. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rainhave fallen from the thunderstorms.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area with the thunderstorms. This additional rainwill result in minor flooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Wellington, Lake Worth, PalmBeach, Ocean Ridge, Greenacres, Royal Palm Beach, PalmSprings, Lantana, Atlantis, Haverhill, Cloud Lake, Gun ClubEstates, Royal Palm Estates, Palm Beach InternationalAirport, Lake Belvedere Estates, Schall Circle, Golden Lakesand Downtown West Palm Beach.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
