WeatherEye Widget for Mac is The Weather Network’s free dashboard application providing live, current conditions for 5000 cities around the world. By installing our weather widget, you can view current weather conditions, short and long term forecasts for most cities right on your dashboard. With this latest version, we have added new features to provide you with real-time weather information directly on your Mac dashboard.

Click on the "Download WeatherEye for Mac" button.
Next, click "Install" to place the WeatherEye widget onto the dashboard and then click "Keep". The WeatherEye widget is now running on your dashboard.
Type the first few letters of the city in the search box and click "Find".
Select the city from drop down list and click "OK" to display the weather for that city on your dashboard.
You can view weather information on multiple cities by adding additional WeatherEye widgets to your Mac dashboard. Here’s how:
Locate the WeatherEye icon on your widget bar. Click on the icon to launch another weather widget. Search for the city that you are interested in and click "OK". Repeat these steps to display multiple city weather conditions.
Please confirm your spelling and punctuation is correct. We currently offer weather information for more than 5000 cities worldwide. If the city that you are interested in is not listed, please let us know and we will do our best to add it with a future release of our WeatherEye product.
In June 2009, version 2.1 was released. Click here to download and install the latest version of WeatherEye widget. A prompt will appear asking if you want to replace the existing widget (if you already a previous WeatherEye Mac installed). Click "Yes" and the newest version of WeatherEye widget will install to your dashboard.
With the WeatherEye widget open, click on the "Long Term" navigation tab, this will show you the five day forecast for your selected city. To go back to the current weather, click the "Current" navigation tab.
Yes. With WeatherEye open, click on the "14-day Trend" text link located near the bottom edge of the widget. This will open a browser window to theweathernetwork.com where you will be able to view the 14-day trend on your selected city.
Open WeatherEye from your dashboard, drag your mouse over the widget and you will notice an "(i)" icon at the bottom right of the WeatherEye widget. Click on the (i), to go to an Options page. Here you enter the city name in the search box and click the "Find" button. Choose your city and click the "OK". The new city weather information is now available.
Yes. You can view the temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius by going to the Options page (accessed by clicking the (i) icon near the bottom right of the WeatherEye widget) and selecting the temperature unit you prefer.
In the Options menu (accessed by clicking the (i) icon near the bottom right of the WeatherEye widget), select the "language" bar and choose the language for your WeatherEye. Currently the WeatherEye widget is only available in English or French.
On the Options page, near the bottom right of the screen, you will see links that will take you to theweathernetwork.com to find more weather information on maps, road, travel and weather alerts.

To remove a widget from your dashboard, be sure that the widget bar is displayed, click the unwanted widget's close button (the round, black button with a white X). This will remove the WeatherEye widget from your dashboard.
