Reports to: Manager, Broadcast Operations

Description:
In this position you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of all Broadcast Equipment. You will provide technical assistance to all studio staff related to the studio.

Responsibilities:
In this position you will be involved in the day to day operational technical support and maintenance of state-of-the-art digital and some analogue broadcast equipment. You will perform a variety of technical tasks, including technical support, maintenance, calibration, repair, modification and installation of different systems, devices, instruments and electronic equipment used in the operation of a television studio.

Responsibilites and duties may evolve and change over time.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a two year Technician program or a three year Technologist Diploma in electronics with a specialization in audio-video or a related field.
• A minimum of two (2) years related experience in maintenance and repair of broadcast quality audio and video equipment is essential and basic knowledge of computer equipment, especially servers and software (Windows NT, AutoCAD, MS Office) as well.
• Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX OS is an asset.
