..Snow squalls off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay developing this evening. Local snowfall accumulations of 15 cm possible.
In the wake of a cold front, a blast of fresh cold Arctic air is expected to flood across Southern Ontario. This cold northwest flow over the relatively warm waters of the Great Lakes is expected to be favorable for development of snow squalls to the Lee of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Flurries at times heavy and local snow squalls are expected to begin early this evening. Local snowfall amounts of 15 cm with local blowing snow reducing visibilities to near zero are possible tonight. Snowsqualls are expected to continue overnight and into Sunday morning.
