A period of very cold wind chills is expected. An Arctic air mass and moderate winds will give wind chill values reaching -45 in northwestern and Central Quebec. This cold weather will spread toward areas further east beginning this evening and give wind chill values between -38 and -50. This extreme cold will persist through Monday morning.Details
Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.
