Freezing rain is expected or occurring. A low pressure system over the Great Lakes will track toward the Saguenay overnight tonight. Ahead of its associated warm front, 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected. The snow will change over to freezing rain in the Saguenay Valley very late in the night; 2 millimetres of freezing precipitation is expected.Details
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Freezing Rain Warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
