An intense low pressure system near Nova Scotia will reach Newfoundland this evening. The storm has now ended over the southwest of the province but is still affecting Central and Eastern Quebec. The conditions will improve gradually from west to east today. Plan your travels and check road conditions before heading out. Meanwhile, very cold temperatures combined with moderate winds will generate wind chill values near -39 this morning over the Chibougamau region and tonight over Manicouagan.
