Hazardous winter conditions are expected. A strong low pressure system currently developing over the eastern American seaboard will move toward the Maritimes on Tuesday. Heavy snow, strong winds and blowing snow will begin to affect the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula tomorrow afternoon.Details
Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Winter Storm Warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.
