A low pressure system north of Natashquan will move toward the Labrador Sea on Monday. Westerly winds will reach up to 100 km/h over the Gaspé Peninsula coast and the Lower North Shore. These winds are causing blowing snow and even blizzard conditions over several areas. Conditions will improve from west to east in the next 12 to 18 hours. Adjust your travel plans accordingly and check road conditions before heading out. Meanwhile, very cold temperatures combined with moderate to strong winds will give wind chill values near -39 over Central Quebec tonight.
