Winter Storm WarningIssued at 11:17 a.m. EST Tuesday 27 January 2015
Hazardous winter conditions are expected. An intense low pressure system currently over New England will give snow, strong winds and blowing snow to the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula beginning this afternoon. A total of 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected with this storm. The snow, swept by winds that could reach 90 km/h, will reduce visibilities to nearly zero.Details
Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
