Just in time for the holidays and holiday shopping, more snow is on the way for eastern Canada this weekend. A white Christmas isn't seeming too farfetched either.
Snow Squall WarningIssued at 8:46 PM EST Tuesday 10 December 2013
Snow squalls tonight to Friday morning. Strong winds over the open waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay are generating flurries and snow squalls. The bands of snow have shifted a bit further north with the heaviest snow squalls coming onshore between Midland and still river. Snowfall amounts of 15 cm per 12 hours are possible in the heaviest snow squalls. Low to nil visibilities in snow and blowing snow will make for hazardous driving conditions. This is a multi-day event in which snow squalls are expected to shift but will affect the warned areas into Friday morning. Total local snowfall amounts up to 50 cm or greater may be reached by Friday morning.Details
