Snow Squall Watch

Issued at 15:27 Wednesday 10 February 2016
Summary

Lake effect flurries will continue and are expected to become more organized early this evening. As the bands intensify, the edge of the squalls could affect the region. As a result, visibilities could be significantly reduced at times and snow may rapidly accumulate. Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to storm.ontario@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports to #ONStorm.
